I love dogs.
No ifs and or buts about it.....
I have three Labradors who are loved and spoiled - Kasey is my old lady who has always been a nervous mess, Chloe is big, thin, and lovable, Maizie is my clown (she makes me laugh and smile the most - not that I have any favorites).
The other night I thought I'd stretch my horizons and do a couple quick sketches of some different breeds of pooches....Here's what I came up with....and to my amazement I find that I love drawing mutts....who knows where it will lead....
I have a friend who is passionate about making quilt tops, another loves dollhouses and fixing up her house,... what about you...what is it that you love to do?
Wishing you all the best!
JD
Your sketches are darling - I love "superdog" in his cape! My current passion is gardening but I'm fighting the rabbits and squirrels so it's a little frustrating right now. I have no doubt I'll share some, but it looks like my strawberries will bear fruit soon. I "stumbled" upon your blog by hitting the "next" button. This usually gets me blogs I may or may not have any interest in at all, but today I found your lovely blog - and your charming Etsy shop. I'm from St. Peters, MO. I guess even the internet is a small world - lol.

Thanks for taking the time to leave such nice kind comments! My mom had a friend who had several rabbits and she saved all of their droppings (if you get my meaning.. ) and gave my mom a bag of it every year to use as fertilizer around her tomatoes and vegetables.... I know it sounds unbelievable but when those tomatoes ripened they were so delicious that you just wanted to eat them like apples. I've always believed the rabbits leavings were what made the difference...so hopefully, if they stop by your strawberry patch they'll leave a little as payment.
DeleteTake care and I hope you have a great week ahead.
